Sella Bench

A compact, durable and recyclable steel bench in mirror and matte finishes. A water-jet pattern lets light through and greenery grow; anchor bolts and expansion plugs fix it outdoors.

I took it from first concept to technical drawings, 3D models, renderings and material research.

Exploded view: the slatted seat, the curved support and the anchor bolts.

The water-jet pattern lets light filter down from above and greenery grow from below. The supports anchor the bench to the ground.
